About Us
Invisible Hands is a community-based nonprofit organization that began its journey in Ramadaan 2015, when two brothers came together with just 80 cents and a shared vision. Today, we are a registered Non-Profit Company (NPC) and a Section 18A Public Benefit Organization (PBO) with SARS.
What started as a small initiative has grown into a fully operational organization, supported by a dedicated management team and a passionate group of volunteers. None of this would have been possible without the generosity of our donors, sponsors, and the unwavering support of our community. Above all, we acknowledge that our success is only by the will of Allah.

Our Mandate: Serving with Care and Dedication
At Invisible Hands, we are committed to fighting hunger and providing relief to indigent and impoverished communities. Our mission is to ensure that no one goes hungry by supporting schools, madressahs, and feeding schemes with essential ingredients, food parcels, and freshly prepared meals.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, we adapted our approach by becoming an in-house cooking center, ensuring that those in need continued to receive warm meals. On 16 June 2023, we reached a significant milestone—serving over 3 million meals since the start of South Africa’s COVID-19 lockdown.
With the help of our 150+ dedicated distributors, we continue to prepare and distribute food to vulnerable communities. Our mission remains clear: to serve, uplift, and nourish as many lives as possible.
